7 Best Happy Hours in Bonita Springs Worth Leaving the House For

by Stephanie Barrett

Waterfront drinks, seriously good bar bites & local spots where happy hour is actually a deal

Happy hour should save you money.

It should not trick you into buying a $17 cocktail because somebody put a sprig of rosemary in it.

Thankfully, Bonita Springs has some legitimately good happy hours.

And we're not talking about shaving 50 cents off a beer.

From oysters and Gulf shrimp along Bonita Beach Road to cocktails overlooking Estero Bay, Italian bar bites and one seriously fun downtown Bonita option, there are plenty of reasons to leave the house before dinner.

So I checked the current specials, hours and locations and rounded up seven Bonita Springs happy hours actually worth knowing about.

Quick note: Happy-hour menus and schedules change, especially between summer and season. These were verified as of August 31, 2026, but always check with the restaurant before making a special trip.

🍸 Bonita Happy Hour at a Glance

🦪 Best Seafood Happy Hour: The Fish House

🌴 1. Coconut Jack's Waterfront Grille

📍 5370 Bonita Beach Road SW

⏰ Happy Hour: Daily, 3–6 PM

⭐ Best For

Waterfront drinks without making happy hour fancy.

❤️ Why It's Worth It

If your idea of happy hour involves water views, seafood and feeling like you're on vacation even though you're approximately 12 minutes from your house, Coconut Jack's belongs on the list.

Located along the back bay near Bonita Beach, Coconut Jack's combines a casual Florida atmosphere with waterfront views and a happy hour that currently runs every day from 3 to 6 PM. Coconut Jack's Waterfront Grille

This is the place for meeting friends after work, taking visitors somewhere that immediately feels like Florida, or grabbing an early drink before dinner.

💡 Stephanie's Local Tip

Happy hour is currently offered at the bar, so don't assume every table qualifies for the specials. Happy Hopper

🍹 I'm Going For

Something cold, something seafood-related and a seat near the water.

✨ 2. The Bohemian

📍 27975 Old 41 Road

⏰ Summer Happy Hour: Monday 5–9 PM | Tuesday–Sunday 5–6:30 PM

⭐ Best For

Cocktails and a night out in Downtown Bonita.

❤️ Why It's Worth It

The Bohemian isn't your typical wings-and-domestic-beer happy hour.

It's colorful, funky and very Downtown Bonita.

The restaurant's current Summer Happy Hour runs all evening Monday from 5 to 9 PM, with Tuesday through Sunday happy hour from 5 to 6:30 PM. It's available at the bar and outdoor couches, with no reservation required for happy hour. The Bohemian Restaurant

This is where I'd go when you want happy-hour pricing but still want the night to feel like an actual night out.

⚠️ Seasonal Note

This is specifically advertised as a Summer Happy Hour, so check The Bohemian's current schedule if you're reading this later in the year.

💡 Stephanie's Local Tip

Monday is the move right now.

A four-hour summer happy hour is difficult to argue with.

🍹 I'm Going For

A cocktail and something from the happy-hour food menu while sitting outside if Florida's humidity decides to behave itself.

🦪 3. The Fish House Restaurant

📍 4685 Bonita Beach Road

⏰ Happy Hour: Daily, 3–6 PM

⭐ Best For

Seafood lovers who want actual food specials with their drinks.

❤️ Why It's Worth It

The Fish House understands something important:

Happy hour needs snacks.

And not one sad bowl of bar nuts.

The current happy-hour menu includes a half-dozen raw oysters for $13, Gulf pink peel-and-eat shrimp for $14, smoked fish dip for $14 and a pound of mussels for $14.

Drink specials currently include $3.50 domestic bottles, $5 house wines and $5 well liquor.

And it all runs every day from 3 to 6 PM. The Fish House Restaurant

That's what I call a happy hour.

💡 Stephanie's Local Tip

If you're hungry, this is one of the strongest choices on the list because the food specials aren't an afterthought.

🍹 I'm Going For

Oysters and a glass of wine.

Done.

🌅 4. Acqua Bistecca

📍 Saltleaf on Estero Bay, 5500 Coconut Road

⏰ Happy Hour: Daily, 4–6 PM

⭐ Best For

A prettier, more upscale happy hour with Estero Bay views.

❤️ Why It's Worth It

Sometimes you want cheap beer.

Sometimes you want to sit somewhere gorgeous and pretend you've got your life extremely together.

Enter Acqua Bistecca.

Located at Saltleaf on Estero Bay beside The Ritz-Carlton Residences, the restaurant pairs an Italian-inspired menu with sweeping waterfront views.

The current happy hour runs daily from 4 to 6 PM, with $11 cocktails, $12 wines and a selection of bar bites, including items such as house-made focaccia and dips and the Burrata Burger. Acqua Bistecca

It's definitely a different category of happy hour than The Fish House, and that's precisely why it's on this list.

💡 Stephanie's Local Tip

Time this one around sunset when you can.

The setting is half the reason to go.

🍹 I'm Going For

A cocktail, a bar bite and absolutely no rushing.

🍕 5. Enzo's Italian Restaurant

📍 Bonita Springs

⏰ Happy Hour: Daily, 3–5 PM

⭐ Best For

The happy-hour menu that makes you accidentally eat dinner at 4 PM.

❤️ Why It's Worth It

Enzo's has been a Southwest Florida staple since 1985, and its current happy hour is one of the best actual deals I found.

Happy hour runs seven days a week from 3 to 5 PM at the bar.

Current drink specials include:

$4 domestic bottles
$5 imported bottles
$6 house wine
$7 call drinks
$8 house margaritas
$10 Aperol or Limoncello Spritzes

But the food is where this gets dangerous.

You'll currently find $8 arancini, $8 house meatballs, $8 truffle chips, $9 fried mozzarella, $10 calamari, $10 fried artichoke and other discounted bites. Enzos

Suddenly it's 4:37 PM and you've eaten an entire Italian dinner.

I'm not judging.

💡 Stephanie's Local Tip

Come hungry. This is probably my pick when the food matters just as much as the drinks.

🍹 I'm Going For

Arancini + Aperol Spritz.

Italy by way of Bonita Springs.

🍷 6. Angelina's Ristorante

📍 Bonita Springs

⏰ Happy Hour: Daily, 4–5:30 PM

⭐ Best For

Date night before date night gets expensive.

❤️ Why It's Worth It

Angelina's is the option for when you want happy hour to feel a little more polished.

The Italian restaurant is known for its extensive wine program and upscale dining experience, but its current happy hour gives you an easier way to experience it.

As of August 2026, happy hour runs daily from 4 to 5:30 PM, with current specials including half-price wines by the glass, half-price beer and select $10 cocktails, alongside cicchetti-style bites. Tripadvisor

This is a great choice for an early date night or drinks before dinner.

💡 Stephanie's Local Tip

Wine drinker?

This is the one I'd put near the top of your list.

🍹 I'm Going For

Wine and cicchetti.

When in faux-Italy...

🛥️ 7. Backwater Jack's

📍 27598 Marina Pointe Drive

⏰ Summer Happy Hour: Thursday–Saturday, 3–6 PM

⭐ Best For

A waterfront happy hour that somehow still feels like a local secret.

❤️ Why It's Worth It

Backwater Jack's sits at Bonita Bay Marina, and it captures that laid-back waterfront side of Bonita Springs beautifully.

This isn't the place I'd send someone looking for a trendy cocktail lounge.

This is the place I'd send someone who wants to sit by the marina, grab a drink and remember why living near the water is pretty freaking great.

For summer 2026, Backwater Jack's is operating Thursday through Saturday, with Happy Hour & Bar Bites from 3 to 6 PM. Backwater Jacks

⚠️ Seasonal Note

This is their summer schedule beginning May 7, 2026, so definitely verify hours as we move back into season.

💡 Stephanie's Local Tip

This one feels especially good when you have out-of-town visitors who think every minute of your life in Florida involves boats and palm trees.

Let them believe it.

🍹 I'm Going For

Whatever is cold while staring at the marina.

🌴 This Is the Bonita Springs I Love Sharing

This is exactly why I'm getting more specific with these local guides.

You don't need another giant list of "Things to Do in Southwest Florida" where one place is in Naples and the next is an hour away.

I want to show you what's actually around the corner.

The waterfront restaurant you haven't tried.

The downtown spot that's perfect for meeting a friend.

The little marina where you can grab a drink on a Friday afternoon.

Because knowing Bonita Springs isn't simply knowing where it sits between Naples and Fort Myers.

It's knowing where to go at 4 PM when somebody texts, "Drinks?"

Now THAT is local knowledge.
